The inspiration for this scene comes from an oil painting. My primary motivation for creating this scene was that I had never made a snowy scene before and I wanted to practice more different brick textures. Brick textures are often one of the first materials artists practice within Substance Designer, but creating various ultra-realistic brick textures remains a challenging task for me. I am very pleased with the final result of these textures. The trees and withered vines created with SpeedTree are perfectly integrated into the scene.
